Early Years Learning
We take a holistic view in our approach to our curriculum and programming: understanding what is needed for the whole child to develop their skills and focusing on each childs individual development.
Kindergarten
Sesamekids is an approved State Funded Kindergarten program
Eligible families can receive up to $2,000 a year towards their child’s 3 or 4 year old Kinder Program
Our kindergarten program is run by a Bachelor Qualified Teacher who scaffolds all area’s of children’s developmental learning. Our school readiness and transition to school program meets all the individual needs of the children and parents in our learning community.
Our focus points are:
- To empower and include all individuals.
- Developing each child as an individual and focus on their individual learning style.
- Create a safe, nurturing, challenging, stimulating, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environment.
- Providing both structured and spontaneous learning opportunities that tap into children’s natural curiosity and their enthusiasm for learning.
All Kinder students will receive a T-Shirt and Hat upon enrollment and assist with the school readiness program.
School Holiday Programs & Before/After School Care
Sesame Kids OSHC / Before and After School Care provides child-led fun play whilst socialising with their friends. With time to do homework as well as craft, outdoor and interactive activities, children look forward to their care at Sesame Kids OSHC. Weekly learning journals are available to see how your child is developing and what they have been busy doing.
